In Quebec, a new book about freedom of expression has won a literary prize.
Dominique Payette’s Les brutes et la punaise: Les radios-poubelles, la liberté d’expression et le commerce des injures (The Bullies and the Bug: Trash Radio, Free Expression and the Marketplace of Insults) has won the Prix des Libraires du Québec 2020 for best Quebec essay.
Les brutes et la punaise won the prize on May 7, 2020.
