Danielle Neri

Danielle Neri is a Master of Journalism student at Ryerson University. Originally from Montreal, she has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in film studies and a graduate diploma in communications from Concordia University. As a media specialist working in the tech industry, Danielle has documentary production and directorial experience. She has since switched gears to pursue journalism because she inherently believes that freedom of the press should remain fundamental to society's future. Danielle has contributed to The Ryersonian and Montreal Rampage. Her research interests include gender inequality, social advocacy for LGBTQ rights and corruption within power structures.
