In October, a new book appeared in bookstores: Free Speech: What Everyone Needs to Know by Nadine Strossen.
The book focuses on the most important U.S. free speech rules, rationales and debates, including the strongest arguments for and against the protection of the most controversial speech, such as hate speech and disinformation.
Strossen is a professor emerita at New York Law School, a past national president of the American Civil Liberties Union (1991–2008) and a senior fellow at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression.
