Jonathan Farrar

Jonathan Farrar is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University.  He received his PhD from the Schulich School of Business, York University.  As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), he has an interest in public accountability for both taxpayers and tax authorities.  His research seeks to understand individual taxpayers’ behaviours, such as whistleblowing decisions, using insights from psychology.  His research has been supported by SSHRC, CPA Canada, and the Centre for Accounting Ethics at the University of Waterloo.
