Blayne Haggart is Associate Professor of Political Science at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, and Senior Research Fellow, Käte Hamburger Kolleg/Centre for Global Cooperation Research University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. His current research focuses on the political economy of knowledge governance. He is the author of Copyfight: The Global Politics of Digital Copyright Reform (University of Toronto Press, 2014), and is co-editor of InformationTechnology and Control in a Changing World: Understanding Power Structures in the 21st Century (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2019). His work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Canadian Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Information Policy and Policy & Internet.
